Eli Young Band: Go ahead and ask if they got 'Drunk Last Night'

FOX411 Country has teamed up with the Eli Young Band at the Hard Rock Resort in the Dominican Republic on Super Bowl Sunday when the chart group launched a series of " live - Land Experience " shows with acts and events from the Big Machine record group at various destinations.
In a halftime interview , singer Mike Eli , guitarist James Young , bassist Jon Jones and drummer Chris Thompson spoke about the 4 March release of her new album " 10,000 cities " - available for pre-order on iTunes Tuesday - trading with the challenges of success , and why it's okay for people who band that sings "Drunk Last Night" , when used in indeed, had to ask a few drinks last night.
FOX411 : Tell us more about the music that went into the new album.
Eli Young Band : This is probably the funniest record we have ever made. We've always been the kind of band that focuses on the live show . And more than any record we 've made, is that album. We could start playing this album to finish and a really funny show out of it. And I think that's why we picked the songs that we have.
FOX411 : You're already on tour , so you will walk in various locations to promote the new album?
EYB : We are in the middle of the Darius Rucker tour, the True Believers tour through the end of May. And then we will start the Jake Owen tour. So it will be a whole year on tour . And Jake , we love to play with it , our music and his music really well together, as well as Darius So it comes to a really fun year. We also get back to Australia back in March. And we love to play .
FOX411 : Is in countries such as the Dominican Republic part of an effort to appears to expand your audience ?
EYB : This is a partnership with Rock and our record company and radio stations are involved , the country music does something better than any other genre . For country music, the radio is really key. That's where you really get out in front of people . The Hard Rock is a big brand in America. We are a country band , but we see on the walls we see the pictures. These are our role models as well. Our live show is probably more rock than country, so it's a great fit.
FOX411 : How does it feel , a big hit like " Drunk Last Night" in advance of the album? Does that add pressure?
EYB : Yes, there was some pressure with this record . We have just as much success, " Drunk Last Night" , "Even if it Breaks Your Heart" and "Crazy Girl" in front of it . But still, it was a fun record . We are all so excited about the new record , only every song there.
We are in this strange time when we were done with the plates , but before the record comes out ... the world has not heard it yet . The reviews are coming , now we have this nervous energy because we want all our fans to hear . We had to keep it to ourselves , and we can not wait for people to hear it .
FOX411 : Some of you are now fathers , young fathers, who you talked during the show. How do you assess the demands of work and family?
EYB : The hardest part about what we do is find out the tours , the fans and find time to be at home. We were able to prioritize our life anew , so that we do not necessarily , for two months on the road. We used to have the mindset that that was fine , and that's what we had to do .

We are good fathers. And at the same time we realize are musicians and we have to go on the road and gives this music. Finding that middle ground is sometimes hard . At the end of the day you have to remember that you have this really great job.
First steps on the stage as much fun as it ever was , maybe even better ... It reminds us of what we do what we do. It is for our families . It is not a selfish thing , like maybe in school it was. We see the bigger picture .
FOX411 : Have you ever tired of people asking if you do not , in fact, to get drunk last night?
EYB : Well, some days we do still like that. We are getting older and we need to choose our battles. But last night , yes, we can say that we definitely have a little drunk ... Thank God we did not have cell service here , so we could not nobody in the text.
