The family of Eli Young Band continues to grow , and understandably , the group likes to have their young along the road whenever possible . Travelling with young children can be a challenge , but fortunately , the quartet has Little Big Town to look for advice .
EYB have won two new additions in the past couple of years. Girl Singer Mike Eli is a boy all the way, while Jon Jones has a son a year old. Eli Kline and Hudson Jones are sometimes lucky enough to join her parents on the road, which can lead to chaos, to say the least .
Fortunately , LBT have been mentors to EYB , especially when it comes to traveling with little ones . The experienced quartet often take their children on the way to the stage and back, and the guys in Eli Young Band have learned a lot of the singers ' Tornado ' , that make traveling with children look easy .
"We've been on two different trips with them, and the first time when he was only about newborns ," says Jones of his tour mates . " And now they are going around and it seems that exploits a playground outside his bus every time you stop . "
He adds the LBT gang, " They're all on the bus together and make it work , and it's perfect . "
The Eli Young Band insist their country music fans are great role models, not only to take the kids on the tour, but also the balance of being musicians and still maintains an active role as parents .
"You can say that their children are having this great education on the road and it is very normal for them ," says Jones. "Seeing them go through it , for us it was just a confirmation that , ' if we can make this work . '
